I am soooooooo impressed I may have to have surgery to remove the smile on my face and spring in my step --- the Kool Koat HD system is UNBELIEVEABLY Incredibly Amazingly awesome! We just got underway in full powder coating operations here at Art of Honor --- currently running tests on powder colors and equipment and I have to say I just cannot believe how excellent this machine and gun work! Simply impressive doesn’t quite say how happy I am using this set up.

Ive been powdercoating as a hobbyist for almost 20 years and im blown away with how well this KKHD system works! I love the microamp adjustment ability. Since i've decided to start offering powdercoating through my business i wanted the best system. THIS IS THE SYSTEM YOU WANT!!!
I recently purchased the Kool Kat HD with the vortex cup. What an awesome set up from what I was using before. I researched multiple units before settling with this one. Honestly the customer care that was provided from Columbia Coatings staff is top notch and really helped me make my decision because of it. They helped me out for days before my purchase and days after I received it. They are GREAT!! I actually felt bad because I was consistently emailing them. The only thing I personally found to be a little disappointing is the sleeve that goes onto the nozzle. The threads on it could definitely be better. I will recommend Columbia Coatings and this unit to anyone who might ask for my input. If your deciding on what to get you can stop and make the purchase now. You won’t be disappointed!!
I just wanted to say that I recently purchased the Kool Koat HD. I am BLOWN AWAY! Believe me, I am NOT a shill for Columbia Coatings. This is an honest review! My shop is relatively new, A little over 2 years old. I started out small and worked my way through some equipment. But now, I don’t think I’ll ever be looking any further than Columbia Coatings for my equipment needs. This Kool Koat HD is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. Individual KV and uA adjustments are pivotal when applying multiple coats of powder. AND it comes with the Wide-Mouth Multi-Coat Nozzle - Tested up to 15 Coats! WHAT?! With the system I just replaced, I was lucky to get 2, maybe 3. But 15?? I’ll be happy with 4, or at most 5. Plus Columbia Coatings also made financing this unit a breeze! This is no cheaply made Import unit. This is a Heavy Duty, made in the USA unit. I look forward to many, many years of doing business with Columbia Coatings! Jack Hammer Viper Powder Coating
