I have been using 5"x5" sheet metal and aluminum foil for months now and I constantly was having all kinds of problems. These new stands are great easy to use, keeps powder out of the inside of the cup, and I never have any grounding for faraday cage problems. I would recommend these to anyone that is coating cups. I also use them went paint cup with Cerakote or Duracoat.
